Who We Are

Family Bridge of Hope (FBH) is a grassroots women’s rights organization providing comprehensive support for survivors of gender-based violence in Nairobi’s underserved neighborhoods. We bridge the gap from trauma to empowerment through holistic, survivor-centered programs that create dignity and purpose for marginalized women and girls.

Behind every statistic is a silenced story.

In Nairobi’s poor and low-income settlements, too many Adolescent Girls and Young Women teen carry the invisible scars of sexual and gender-based violence. Rejected by families, stigmatized by society, and left to fight alone in a world without opportunity, they face a cycle of trauma, isolation, and poverty. The situation is worse for refugee girls and women who have to endure the added tragedy of displacement and lack of protective documents.

Traditional support systems often stop at awareness or temporary relief. Few offer holistic support

Inspired by the transformative power of compassion and justice, FBH seeks to walk alongside, empower, and advocate for vulnerable women and girls, ensuring they find healing, dignity, and the strength to shape their own futures. Together, we build bridges of hope and impact across communities.
